Vyacheslav Batenin

Vyacheslav Batenin has over two decades of experience in software development, currently serving as the Head of the AV engine development team at Kaspersky Lab since February 2003. In this role, Batenin is responsible for the design and development of the core antivirus engine and its support infrastructure. Prior to Kaspersky Lab, Batenin worked at Infra Telesystems from August 2000 to February 2003, focusing on the development of a computer/telephone integration system and an internal configuration subsystem. Batenin holds a Master's degree in Aircraft control systems from the Moscow Aviation Institute, obtained between 1987 and 1993.
