Alessandro Santo

Alessandro Santo is a seasoned investment professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including venture capital and corporate development. Currently, Alessandro serves as Managing Partner at Algebris Investments, co-leading a €100m VC fund dedicated to Climate Tech and Deep Tech startups. Alessandro has been a Kauffman Fellow since 2012 and co-chairs the Corporate Venture Capital group, engaging with leading CVCs globally. Previously, Alessandro held roles such as Director at Last Mile Ventures, Venture Partner at Aquaa Partners, and Director of Corporate Development at Backbase, alongside significant contributions at Memopal, dPixel, Bain & Company, and EQUITA SIM. Alessandro holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BBA in Economics & Finance from Università Bocconi.
