Chang Xu

Chang Xu is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with extensive experience in AI, automation, and venture capital. Currently serving as a Partner at Basis Set since August 2019, Chang has a strong focus on investing in innovative technologies. As a Founding Member of Persistence, Chang is dedicated to empowering women in tech and promoting diversity and inclusion. Chang is also a Kauffman Fellow, having participated in a prestigious professional development program that connects a global network of venture capitalists. Previously, as a Principal at Upfront Ventures, Chang played a vital role in managing investments in several prominent startups. Chang holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Math/Economics and Computer Science from Harvard University, as well as an MBA from Harvard Business School.
