Alex Torke has a diverse work experience in the field of security and law enforcement. They are currently working as an Event Security Liaison at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, where they develop comprehensive threat assessments and security plans for various events. Previously, they served as an Interior Sergeant in the Special Operations Division of the Santa Clara Police Department, where they were responsible for planning and executing large-scale events at Levi's Stadium. They also served as a Detective Sergeant, leading the Sexual Assaults unit and the General Assaults section, as well as a Police Sergeant, supervising a patrol team. Additionally, Alex worked as an EOD Coordinator, developing and implementing hazardous device detection strategies at Levi's Stadium. Prior to their career in law enforcement, they served in the United States Marine Corps as a Sergeant, specializing in anti-armor operations. Alex also had a leadership role as the President of the Santa Clara Police Officer Association, representing the interests of the members.
