Megan Arrington

Megan Arrington is currently a Project Lead/Scientist II at KBI Biopharma, with experience that includes roles as a Graduate Student Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where research focused on the E62K mutation's effects on Rac2 biochemistry and the oxidative regulation of Rac1 GTPase. Previously, Megan served as a Lecturer at Western Carolina University, independently teaching undergraduate chemistry courses, and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, where screening of small molecules for SOD1 and SOD2 binding was conducted. Megan began work in the geosciences field as a Research Assistant to measure soil sample elemental composition. Holding a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Science in Chemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, both from Western Carolina University, highlights a strong educational foundation in the field.
