Tom Kelland, CEng MIChemE PMP, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Tom started their career as a Process Worker at Tegal in December 2010. From there, they worked as a Process Engineer at Sedgman Limited from 2011 to 2013. Tom then joined Saint-Gobain as a Process Engineer Specialist, where they developed procedures and managed projects from 2013 to 2014.
In 2014, Tom volunteered as an Engineer at La Esperanza Granada, providing engineering services to local schools and accomplishing projects such as providing drinking water to a poor school and nearby houses.
From 2015 to 2020, Tom worked at CSL Behring as a Process Engineer, Senior Process Engineer, and eventually as a Senior Engineering Manager/Lead Engineer in production engineering bulk. Their responsibilities included managing teams, ensuring GxP standards, and fixing breakdowns to maintain the plant's operation.
In 2020, Tom took on the role of Director of Southwest Operations at PSC Biotech Corporation, a consulting company specializing in the life sciences industry. Tom was responsible for managing activities in multiple states in the Southwest region. Following this, they served as the Technical Operations Director for the Rocky Mountain & Oceania Regions at PSC Biotech Corporation.
Currently, Tom is working at KBI Biopharma as the Associate Director of Engineering, starting in January 2023.

Tom Kelland, CEng MIChemE PMP, has a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) with honors in Chemical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, which they completed from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Certificate from Christchurch Boys High School, attending from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Tom has also obtained certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2022 and Chartered Chemical Engineer from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) in 2020.
