Sara del Carlo

Sara Del Carlo has extensive experience in quality control within the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as QC Sr. Manager and Qualified Person at Kedrion Biopharma since April 2014. Previous positions at Kedrion include Quality Control Manager, Quality Control Biological Analytical Area Manager, and QC Associate, focusing on equipment qualification, compliance with regulatory standards, and protocol execution. Earlier career experience also includes a role as a QC Analyst involving method technology transfer and validation. Academically, Sara earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Clinical Pathophysiology and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Pisa, where studies were conducted from 2011 to 2014, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Analytical Socio-Environmental Toxicology. Sara also participated in a student placement at The University of Edinburgh in 2013.
