Jim Lewis

Jim Lewis is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property (IP) law. Currently serving as Global Corporate Counsel for Intellectual Property at Kellanova since October 2023, Jim oversees the company's IP assets, disputes, and transactional aspects related to joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and licensing. Prior to this role, Jim held a similar position at Kellogg Company from January 2013 to October 2023. Jim gained considerable expertise as a Partner at Squire Patton Boggs LLP from 1999 to December 2012, focusing on patent, trade secret, and trademark litigation, as well as IP asset management. Earlier in Jim's career, Jim worked as an Associate Attorney at Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, where the focus was on IP, commercial, and product liability litigation. Jim holds a Master of Laws in IP and a Doctor of Law from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, along with a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University.
