Alejandra Thomas

Alejandra Thomas currently holds a position in Environmental Graphics (EGD) at Kennesaw State University since October 2023. Previously, Alejandra served as the Director of Experiential Graphic Design at Jones Worley from January 2016 to October 2023 and as an Associate EGD Senior Designer & Project Manager at Huie Design from February 2011 to December 2015. Alejandra's expertise includes collaborating with architects and industry professionals to enhance public spaces through the design of sign programs, wayfinding systems, and interpretive environments. Prior experience includes working as an Environmental Graphic Designer at Jacobs Engineering, focusing on various design disciplines related to wayfinding and identity communication, as well as serving as Assistant Plant Manager at Maxxis International. Alejandra holds a Master of Industrial Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the same institution. An initial pursuit in Industrial Engineering Technology was undertaken at Southern Polytechnic State University.
