Cara Ray

Cara Ray, Ph.D., serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at Kennesaw State University since January 2018, where responsibilities include defining and establishing the Student Affairs presence at the Marietta Campus, developing strategic plans, managing budgets, and supporting student organizations. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Vice President and Dean of Students at the University of North Georgia from July 2010 to December 2017, supervising multiple departments across campuses and administering student processes. Earlier positions at Gainesville State College and Georgia Institute of Technology focused on student life and leadership, with a strong foundation in higher education from degrees earned at The University of Georgia, Virginia Tech, and Guilford College.
