Athena-Maria Enderstein

Athena-Maria Enderstein currently serves as the Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Keywords Studios, a role assumed in February 2022, after previously holding the position of Diversity and Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager in Europe. Prior to this, Athena-Maria was the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Lead at Durham University from September 2019 to January 2022 and worked as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at Associazione Orlando | GRACE from March 2016 to August 2019. Additional experience includes co-founding and coordinating Hollaback! Hull, serving as a founding member and Training and Facilitation Lead at Project Ignition | Learners' Network, and working in various roles focused on training and research in South Africa. Athena-Maria holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Hull, a GEMMA Master's degree from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, and a Postgraduate Honours degree in Psychology from the University of Cape Town.
