Nicholas Joe

Nicholas Joe is an experienced education professional currently serving as a District Success Manager at Khan Academy since February 2024. Previously, Nicholas held the position of Professional Learning Lead Consultant at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt from May 2023 to February 2024, following a similar role at NWEA from February 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included the development and facilitation of professional development to support educators. Nicholas also has experience as an Education Training Consultant at Discovery Education from November 2018 to December 2022. Nicholas began a career in education as a Mathematics Department Chair and 8th Grade Math Teacher at Skokie District 68, along with teaching roles at Waukegan Public Schools and Warren Township High School. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Mathematics Teacher Education from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
