Elina Roinioti

Elina Roinioti serves as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Performing and Digital Art, University of Peloponnese, since April 2023, while also consulting for Kickstarter as a Games and Community Consultant for Europe since February 2021. Roinioti holds a postdoctoral researcher position at the University of Peloponnese and previously worked as a lecturer at Vakalo Art & Design College, teaching Game Design Elements. Roinioti's extensive background includes significant roles such as Networking & Communication Manager at Corallia and Business Developer at Pixel Reign. Research efforts have focused on digital games and cultural production, particularly regarding Greece's national and international policy perspectives, and were supported by the European Union. Roinioti's academic qualifications include a PhD in Games and Culture and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Sociology from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences.
