Iris J. Franco

Iris J. Franco, Esq. currently serves as the Managing Director and has held various roles at Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) since January 2015, including Managing Attorney, Acting Managing Attorney, Supervising Attorney, and Pro Bono Coordinating Attorney. Previously, Iris J. Franco worked as a Legal Assistant at the Law Office of Belen Gomez, focusing on family and humanitarian immigration matters, and gained experience through a Legal Intern position at KIND and as a Certified Law Student at the Western State College of Law Immigration Clinic. Additionally, Iris J. Franco began a legal career as a Legal Secretary at the Law Offices of Yolanda Franco. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science with minors in Criminology, Law and Society, and Biology from UC Irvine, as well as a Doctor of Law degree from Western State College of Law.
