Julius Flock

Julius Flock has a diverse work experience, starting with an internship as a Patent Attorney at Patent Attorneys and Lawyers BAUER WAGNER PRIESMEYER. Julius attended daily meetings with CEOs, CTOs, and entrepreneurs while assisting in the technical elaboration of patent applications. Julius then interned as a Business Development intern at Torno Lineas, where they conducted research on prospective clients, competitors, industries, and markets to identify potential business opportunities and partnerships.

Julius then worked as a UX Designer and Product Owner at pixolith GmbH & Co. KG, a full-service web agency, where they served medium and large businesses. Some notable clients included Porsche, Fujifilm, Aldi Süd, Hologic, Bearingpoint, and the Ministry of Justice NRW (Germany).

In 2019, Julius became a freelance Product Designer and Manager before joining Blossom Educational as the Chief Product & Design Officer. At Blossom Educational, they managed the entire product lifecycle across teams until the company's successful exit and acquisition by Five Arrows Growth Capital in April 2023.

Most recently, Julius is working as the Global Head of Product at KidsKonnect, a childcare software provider serving over 1 million children and parents in Europe. Julius'sresponsibilities include international expansion of the product and re-envisioning the product design in collaboration with the Head of Design.

Julius Flock completed their education at FernUniversität in Hagen, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Informatics in 2016. Prior to that, they attended ETH Zürich for studies in Environmental Sciences from 2010 to 2011. Julius also earned a High School Diploma from Athénée Royal d'Eupen, Belgium in 2010. In addition to their formal education, Julius Flock has obtained certifications in Advanced Google Analytics, Google Analytics Individual Qualification, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) in the year 2019.
