Marie-Andree Roy has extensive experience in translation and language instruction, currently serving as the Translation Services Manager at Kiewit since September 2012, where responsibilities include translation technology selection, project management, and quality assurance. Previous roles include Senior Translation Project Manager, where significant contributions involved implementing CAT tool solutions and organizing workplace processes. Prior to Kiewit, Marie-Andree worked as a French teacher for the Commission scolaire de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-Îles and as a Translation Coordinator at Snap-on Tools, where technical and general documents were translated and revised for quality. Marie-Andree's early career included representing Canada as a hostess and journalist at the Universal Exhibition in 1992. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Translation from Université Laval, a Master's degree in French Language Teacher Education from Université de Sherbrooke, and additional diplomas in Teaching English or French as a Second Language.
