Data Scientist at Kiliba

Soumia Dermouche is a data scientist at Kiliba since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a PhD student at the ISIR - Institut des Systèmes Intelligents et de Robotique from April 2015 to June 2019. Their research focused on using deep learning and sequence mining algorithms to enhance the quality of interactions between users and embodied conversational agents. Soumia also worked as a contract teacher at Télécom Paris from September 2015 to July 2017. Before that, they completed internships at LIRMM in 2014 and 2013, where they worked on projects related to biomedical semantic annotation and emotion analysis in health forums, respectively. Soumia also completed an internship at CHU de Montpellier from April 2012 to August 2012.

Soumia Dermouche began their education journey in 2005 at the Ecole nationale Superieure d'Informatique (ESI), where they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Informatique in 2010. Soumia then pursued further studies and attended the University of Montpellier from 2012 to 2013, obtaining a Master 2 (M2) degree in Informatique. Continuing their academic pursuits, Soumia attended the University of Montpellier from 2013 to 2014 and obtained another Master 2 (M2) degree, this time in Bioinformatique. Finally, from 2015 to 2019, they studied at Sorbonne Université, where they completed their doctoral degree (Doctorat) in the field of Informatique.
