John Terpening

John Terpening serves as the Sr. Director of Engineering for Embedded Products at Kingston Technology since April 2009, overseeing a team focused on the qualification and system validation of embedded memory and storage products. Previous experience includes managing the engineering team for security products at Kingston and serving as Vice President of Engineering at Southland Micro Systems. Additionally, John is a board member at JEDEC Solid State Technology Association and has experience as an adjunct professor in Electrical & Computer Engineering at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. Military background includes service as an Officer and CH-53E Helicopter Pilot in the United States Marine Corps. John holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
