Brian Cross

Brian is an EVP of Solution Architecture and a partner at KlarisIP. He helps clients across a diverse range of industries address their content, rights and metadata needs.

With 16 years of experience working at the intersection of digital asset management, rights and data, Brian has held roles at Macmillan Learning, AIG, Condé Nast, ArtStor and Pratt Institute. At Condé Nast, he helped to implement the company’s first enterprise digital asset management and semantic/taxonomy systems. As a director at Condé Nast, his day-to-day responsibilities included the planning and management of the company’s digital assets and rights systems. These systems facilitated a robust metadata, content conversion and syndication workflow for Condé Nast’s 150 US and international brands. Brian continued this work at AIG and Macmillan Learning, where he helped to develop content workflows, metadata frameworks and guide system implementation.
