Christian Appel

Christian Appel is an experienced design professional currently serving as a Principal Designer and Senior Design Lead at Klarna since January 2019. Previously, Christian held the position of Senior Domain Design Lead at the same company. Prior experience includes leading product design at Umain from June 2013 to February 2019, and serving as Digital Art Director at both Haus and Nordlinder Pihlblad Pontén from September 2012 to August 2013 and March 2010 to August 2012, respectively. Earlier in the career, Christian worked as a graphic designer at JMC, ICA Sverige from November 2008 to February 2010 and at ISOLDA from March 2008 to October 2008. Christian's academic background includes studies at Hogeschool INHOLLAND from 2007 to 2008 and Högskolan i Jönköping from 2004 to 2007.
