Marta Garcia-Morera

Marta Garcia-Morera has a diverse range of work experience. Marta currently works as a Business Development Manager at Klarna starting in September 2021. Prior to that, they owned and operated an e-commerce fashion business called Viajecito Inc. from June 2016. During their time at Viajecito Inc., they developed and executed sales strategies for local and international expansion, implemented various digital marketing and social media campaigns, and identified growth opportunities. Marta also worked at IE Business School, where they held multiple roles including Global Recruitment Manager and Associate Director of Finance. In these positions, they planned and executed international commercialization strategies and built relationships with strategic partners. Additionally, they worked at Branded Beverages as a Product Development Consultant, conducting market research and analysis, formulating product strategies, and overseeing product development and launch. Marta also has legal experience, having worked as a Legal Consultant at JPMorgan Chase and as a Lawyer at ACCRA Law Offices, where they specialized in business establishment and development, securities and capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and commercial law.

Marta Garcia-Morera holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from IE Business School, which they pursued and completed in the year 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Ateneo de Manila University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Marta began their higher education journey at Ateneo de Manila University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from 2002 to 2006.
