Raheel Kohli

Raheel Kohli is a Partner in the New Delhi office. He focuses on infrastructure practice, with specialization in dispute resolution in the power sector. He is a key member of the Firm’s energy practice group.

Raheel is handling matters relating to tariff determination, power purchase, contractual and regulatory issues in the sector.

Further, he has advised and represented power utilities in their disputes relating to fuel surcharge adjustment, open access, trading margin, cross subsidy surcharge, wheeling charges, peak load exemption charges, billing and other related issues. Raheel has also advised and represented generating companies, both in the conventional & renewable space, in matters relating to determination of project specific tariff and power purchase.

Raheel has also represented clients in complex and high-stake arbitrations before the Arbitral Tribunal constituted under the contracts relating to development & commissioning of distribution network and transmission project.
