Duy Nguyen

Duy Nguyen is the VP & Head of New Ventures at Kompa. Duy has over 10 years of experience in finance and business intelligence. Duy has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Nguyen started their career as a commodity analyst at Ben Thanh Jewelry in 2010. Duy then became an assistant relationship manager at Credit Agricole CIB. In 2011, they joined CyberAgent, Inc. as the Vice President of CyberAgent Capital.

In 2016, Nguyen left CyberAgent to join Omidyar Network as an investment management associate. Duy then moved to Comicola as the finance and business intelligence lead in 2018. Nguyen joined Kompa as an advisor in 2019 and was appointed as the VP & Head of New Ventures in 2020.

Duy Nguyen attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). Duy also attended the Georgia Institute of Technology and earned a Master of Science in Computational Analytics. Duy Nguyen graduated from Truòng Dai hoc Ngoai Thuong with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Duy also holds a High School Diploma in Natural Science - A1 from Le Hong Phong - Petrus Ky.
