Jan Pieter Drijfhout

Jan Pieter Drijfhout is an accomplished R&D manager with extensive experience in polycondensation technology and sustainable coating solutions. Currently leading a product and concept development team at Covestro's Applied Polycondensation and Innovation Centre, Jan Pieter is also driving digitalization and automation efforts within the R&D team. In addition, Jan Pieter serves as a board member for the Macro Molecules section of the Royal Dutch Chemistry Association, fostering collaboration between academia and industry. Previous roles include senior positions at DSM, where responsibilities spanned product development, project direction for novel applications, and coordination of educational initiatives in coating technology. Jan Pieter holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Groningen.
