Paul Popelka

Paul Popelka has been working in the software engineering industry since 1985. Paul began their career as a Systems Programmer at ZeroOne Systems, followed by a role as a Programmer at Amdahl from 1989 to 1993. Paul then worked as a Software Engineer at Auspex from 1993 to 1994, and at Auspex Systems, Inc. from 1994 to 2005. From 2005 to 2010, they worked as a Computer Programmer at PowerFile Inc., where they redesigned and implemented an optical library manager, designed, implemented, and maintained a user space implementation of the UDF filesystem, and assisted customer support. Paul then worked as a Principal Software Engineer at EMC from 2010 to 2016, and at Oracle from 2016 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineer at Kontain.

Paul Popelka obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 1973 and 1978.
