Redmer Bertens

Redmer Bertens is an experienced data scientist and physicist currently serving as Lead Data Scientist and Senior Manager of Advanced Analytics and Big Data at KPMG Nederland since March 2019. Previously, Redmer held the position of Senior Data Scientist at KPMG and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Tennessee, collaborating with CERN. At CERN, Redmer contributed as a Scientist on the ALICE experiment and completed a summer internship focused on large-scale data analysis. Redmer holds a PhD in Experimental Physics from Utrecht University, where roles included PhD Council member and Teaching Assistant. Educational qualifications also include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Elementary Particle Physics and Physics and Astronomy, respectively.
