Steven Baik is a seasoned legal professional currently serving as Semi Retired at Shangri-La since August 2022 and holds the position of Global General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer at KRAFTON Inc. since April 2019. Prior to this role, Steven was the Chief Legal Officer at PUBG Corporation/Krafton, Inc. from April 2019 to December 2021. With extensive experience in intellectual property litigation, Steven was a Partner at several leading global law firms, including Wilson Sonsini, Orrick, Reed Smith, and Sidley Austin, from 2004 to 2019. Additionally, as Chief IP Counsel at SanDisk®, Steven managed all IP-related legal matters and significantly increased the patent portfolio. Steven holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
