Smeet Parekh

Smeet is an associate with K&S Partners’ trademarks team. He began practising Intellectual Property law in 2018.

Smeet handles prosecution, opposition and advisory matters relating to trademarks. Previously, he has helped various industries in securing their trademark registration.

He is also involved in advising clients on the protection of geographical indications as well as copyright advisory work.

Smeet regularly appears before the Trade Marks Offices in connection with prosecution, opposition and rectification hearings.

Apart from IP, Smeet has experience in drafting and vetting commercial agreements. Prior to joining the firm, he was associated with a Mumbai-based corporate law firm.
