Rubem Neto

Rubem Neto has a diverse work experience in the field of frontend development. Rubem currently works as a Frontend Engineer at kununu, where they are responsible for developing new frontend features and pages for the kununu platform. Rubem is also involved in the development and maintenance of a shared UI components library. Additionally, Rubem participates in the interview process for new developers and influences the decision-making in the hiring process.

Prior to their current role, Rubem worked as a Front-end Developer at Jumia Porto Tech Center. In this role, they contributed to the development of Jumia's Marketing and Digital Services platforms. Rubem was responsible for developing new frontend features for the marketing platform using VueJs and its libraries. Rubem also worked on the development of the advertising platform using React and its libraries.

Before that, Rubem held the position of Front-end Developer at LUGGit, where they had two separate periods of employment. Rubem also worked as a Frontend Developer at an unidentified company.

Rubem's earliest work experience was as a Business Office Assistant at AZOIA Comércio Importação e Exportação LTDA.

Rubem Neto completed a Licentiate degree in Informatics Engineering at Universidade de Aveiro from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2020, they pursued Information Systems with a focus on Computer Science at Centro de Informática UFPE. In addition to their formal education, in June 2021 they obtained a certification in Ignite React from Rocketseat.
