John van Naarden

John Van Naarden is an experienced systems engineer specializing in payload architecture and engineering, currently serving as Group Lead for Systems Engineering at L3Harris Technologies since April 2018. Prior to this role, John held various positions at Harris Corporation, including Chief Systems Engineer for EO/IR Payloads and Chief Engineer for the GOES-R Advanced Baseline Imager. Additional experience includes roles at Exelis, Geospatial Systems, and extensive work in systems engineering since 2001. John holds a Master's Degree in Systems Engineering from Purdue University Fort Wayne and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis.
