Eva Pittas is the Co-Founder and COO of Laika. Eva has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on risk and compliance.

Eva started their career at Citigroup in 2004, where they spent four years as Managing Director - Business Unit Manager of Finance, Operations & Technology for ICG. In this role, they were responsible for establishing and leading the finance and operational control functions for a global organization of 32,000 employees. Eva was able to optimize the function within the first year of operation and improve effectiveness.

In 2008, Eva transferred to Citi - ICG as Managing Director - IT Risk & Control. In this role, they were responsible for establishing and leading the Institutional Clients Group’s IT Risk and Control Organization. Eva successfully stabilized and transformed the risk and control function, resulting in an improved risk profile across ten risk disciplines during a time of significant regulatory scrutiny and oversight. Eva also supported a significant build-out in O&T capabilities.

Eva left Citigroup in 2014 to start their own company, FinTech BRCG. FinTech BRCG helps FinTechs navigate the complex regulatory environment to do business with Financial Institutions. Eva served as Founder & CEO of FinTech BRCG from August 2017 to June 2019.

In June 2019, Eva co-founded Laika, a company that is reimagining the customer support experience through AI-powered chatbots. As COO of Laika, Eva is responsible for operations, strategy, and business development.

Eva Pittas has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Finance and Financial Management Services from NYU Stern School of Business and a High School Diploma from FDR HS.
