Chetan Kotur

Chetan Kotur serves as the Head of Technology and Innovation at Laing O'Rourke since November 2022. Previously, Chetan held the position of Head of Products APAC at Polestar from September 2017 to October 2022, overseeing product responsibilities and staff training in the Asia-Pacific region while successfully launching the brand in multiple countries. Chetan's early career includes roles at Volvo Cars, where key achievements involved leading the design of the Polestar 2 and creating a pioneering collision avoidance system. As a recognized figure in the engineering field, Chetan was awarded the UK Young Engineer of the Year 2018 by the Royal Academy of Engineering. Earning a Master of Engineering in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University, Chetan furthered education with an Innovation Fellowship at the Royal College of Art in 2023.
