Carrie Kozak

Carrie Kozak is an experienced professional in the mortgage quality control sector, currently serving as Vice President of Mortgage Quality Control at Lake Michigan Credit Union since September 2016. In this role, Carrie oversees pre-close and post-close audits in line with agency guidelines and manages monitoring and reporting related to repurchase requests, early payment defaults, and indemnification requests. Prior to this position, Carrie held the title of Vice President of Quality Control at Northpointe Bank from September 2003 to September 2016, where similar responsibilities were fulfilled. Carrie began the career as Funding Manager at First National Bank of America from January 1997 to August 2003, underwriting private mortgages and land contracts, making funding decisions based on investment risk and credit. Education was completed at Ferris State University.
