Muhammad Abbas

Muhammad Abbas is a Senior Engineer (Operations) at Lalpir & Pakgen Power Limited since March 2020, specializing in the cooling tower and water treatment sections. Responsibilities include operating a 1200 tons/hr MHI FRR boiler for steam generation, participation in plant start-up and shutdown, overseeing the handover of mechanical and electrical equipment to maintenance teams, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Muhammad also utilizes a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for various operational tasks and is involved in boiler inspections and annual registrations, along with outage and overhaul activities for a 362 MW steam turbine and associated systems. Prior to this role, Muhammad served as Engineer II (Operations) and was a primary member of the HSE team at the same organization from January 2014 to January 2020.
