David Hall

Head of High Performance Computing at Lambda

David Hall has over 28 years of experience in technology, having worked in various companies and roles. David started their career as a software engineer at HP in 1993 and later moved on to become an information technology infrastructure architect, client services lead architect, and lead enterprise architect. In their role as a senior business consultant and practice principal at HP, they delivered full-scale IT transformations for 12 companies over five years. For 16 months, they served as the interim CTO for Clorox under an outsourcing contract with HP.

In 2008, David Hall joined Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where they held various roles including account chief technologist, director, and chief technologist director for AI and deep learning solutions. In these roles, they designed infrastructure, edge and cloud solutions for some of the world's largest banks, worked with sales executives to build financial models to support business justification, and delivered customer presentations and executive briefings. David also developed and evangelized HPE's portfolio of end-to-end solutions for artificial intelligence and machine learning.

In 2020, David Hall worked as an information technology business consultant, providing guidance to small businesses on their use of technology to drive growth and cost savings. David then joined World Wide Technology in 2021 as AI business development manager, enabling the company's customers to address their needs related to artificial intelligence and data analytics. David also promoted WWT's AI capabilities and established the company's go-to-market strategy, while enabling partners to insert their solutions into WWT's designs and services. Currently, David Hall holds the position of head of high-performance computing at Lambda since 2022.

David Hall earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Brigham Young University. David also obtained several certifications such as Architecting with Google Compute Engine Specialization, Deep Learning Specialization, HP Master ASE - Data Center and Cloud Architect V1, NVIDIA Certified Associate – AI in the Data Center, and TOGAF 7 Foundation.
