Michael Blade

Michael Blade is the current General Counsel at Lane Community College. Prior to their current position, Blade served as the Executive Director of Human Resources and General Counsel at Klamath Community College from April 2018 to April 2020. Michael has also worked as an affordable housing and real estate attorney at the VLP Law Group LLP, the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, Frost Brown Todd, and Greenebaum Doll & McDonald PLLC.

Michael Blade attended Montgomery Bell Academy before going to the University of Oregon - Charles H. Lundquist College of Business, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in finance. Michael then attended Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, where they earned an MBA in organization management. Finally, they attended Vanderbilt University Law School, where they earned a Juris Doctor in law.

Their manager is Margaret Hamilton, President. They are on a team with Mindie Dieu - AVP, Student Affairs, Jennifer Frei - AVP, Arts & Sciences, and Paul Jarrell - Provost & EVP.
