Roshan Gunawardena

Roshan Gunawardena currently serves as the Deputy CEO at LOLC Unguka Finance since September 2022 and has been the Country Head for the African Region at LOLC Holdings PLC since July 2021. Prior experience includes over a decade at Nations Trust Bank PLC in various roles, culminating as Assistant Vice President, where responsibilities encompassed leadership in insurance brokering, relationship management, business strategy development, and oversight of the remittances and bancassurance divisions. Earlier career highlights include significant positions at Amana Takaful PLC, Mashreq Bank, Seylan Bank PLC, and Abans Group Sri Lanka. Roshan holds an MBA from Cardiff Metropolitan University and has additional qualifications in marketing and shipping.
