James Woodfork

James Woodfork, Jr. has extensive experience in educational and youth development roles, currently serving as a Graduation Specialist and School Improvement Coordinator for the Lansing School District since August 2017. Previous positions include Student Support Specialist, Head Freshman Basketball Coach at J.W. Sexton High School, and a Board Member for Highfields, Inc., focused on empowering children and families. Woodfork has held various coaching roles, including Head Basketball Coach at All Sports Academy and American Football Coach at the American University of Beirut. With a strong academic background, Woodfork holds multiple Master of Education degrees in Instructional Leadership and Social Justice, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Kalamazoo College.
