Adrian Nelson

Adrian Nelson is an experienced professional dedicated to community support and diversity initiatives, currently serving as a member of the Diversity Committee at L'Arche USA since September 2017. Alongside this role, Adrian has been a live-in caregiver at L'Arche Tahoma Hope Community since August 2016, facilitating independent living for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Previous positions include a live-out community support role at L'Arche Atlanta, where support for Core Members was emphasized, and participation in the Quaker Voluntary Service as a fellow. Adrian began a career in admissions at Shimer College, ascending from Admission Ambassador to Assistant Director of Admission, where responsibilities included guiding prospective students through the recruitment process. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Shimer College, completed in 2011.
