Robert Blood is a hospitality and commercial design expert with a career that began at the age of 26 as the innkeeper of a bed and breakfast on Nantucket Island. After purchasing his first lodging property in Kennebunkport, Maine, in 2004, Robert has managed and owned over 50 hotels and more than a dozen restaurants across the United States. As the founder and chairman of Lark, Robert oversees a real estate portfolio valued at over $500 million with an annual revenue stream approaching $100 million. Additionally, Robert is a partner at Elder & Ash and a principal at Lark Capital, where Robert focuses on creating memorable experiences rooted in local culture and history. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Bates College, which Robert earned in 1997.
