Last Mile Holdings, whose subsidiaries include Gotcha, a leading micro-mobility company that offers short term rentals of items such as bikes and electric scooters, has announced the appointment of Kate Marley as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Marley will start at the company effective July 6th and report directly to CEO Max Smith.
"On behalf of the Last Mile board and leadership team, I would like to formally welcome Kate as our new CFO," said Smith. "Kate is a seasoned executive with nearly 30 years of finance and accounting experience at four different public companies. As we continue building out our management team, we believe Kate is uniquely qualified to help us realize our operational goals, including enhanced financial reporting as well as driving improvements in our industry-leading unit economics."
Marley brings nearly three decades of finance and accounting leadership experience to the team at Last Mile. The majority of Marley's expertise is in the multi-billion dollar international aerospace industry, where she has successfully managed strategic transactions, including multiple initial public offerings (IPOs) and M&A deals. She most recently served as a Controller at Meggitt and before that held senior roles at Ixia, American Homes 4 Rent, Jakks Pacific, DTS, and THQ. Marley received a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University and began her careet at PWC.
