Rachel Schmitz, Ph.D., PMP, currently serves as a Senior Consultant at Latham BioPharm Group, having held multiple positions within the company since January 2017, including Consultant and Associate Consultant. Prior to this, Rachel worked at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from June 2011 to December 2016, where responsibilities included Graduate Teaching Assistant roles for Introductory Chemistry courses and Graduate Research Assistant work, focusing on developing novel combustion synthetic routes for fluorescent carbon nanodots. Earlier experience includes positions as an Undergraduate Laboratory Assistant and Undergraduate Research Assistant at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where Rachel engaged in laboratory preparation and synthesis of nanoparticles. Rachel obtained a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
