Chris Blake

Executive General Manager, Corporate Services at Latitude Financial Services

Chris is a proven transformation leader who has designed and led successful enterprise-wide change connecting Strategy, Brand and Culture.

After a successful consulting career as a Partner at PwC, Chris built and led high performing teams to design and implement business and cultural change in Financial Services and more recently with Australia Post.

In February 2019 Chris joined Latitude Financial Services as the Executive General Manager - Corporate Services, where he and his team have responsibility for developing and implementing a refreshed strategy, brand and culture to capture the growth opportunities that exist in the rapidly changing financial services landscape.

In his eight years at Australia Post, he played a leading role in the transformation of the strategy and culture of one of Australia's most iconic companies from a Government owned postal business in decline to an innovative eCommerce business with significant growth options. The portfolio that Chris led at Australia Post included Strategy, New Business Development, Corporate Affairs & Communications, Company Secretariat, Government Relations, General Counsel and management of the $8 billion APSS Superannuation Fund. To successfully transform Post, a wholesale reform of the strategy and culture of the company was required and at the peak of the transformation, Chris also led Human Resources, Community Social Responsibility and Brand.

Chris has also served on several Federal Government Reviews and Panels including, as a Member of the Prime Minister's Advisory Group on the Reform of Australian Government Administration (2009). Chris currently serves on the APSC Deputy Secretaries' Talent Council and in 2018 was a member of the Employment Services Expert Advisory Panel for the Department of Jobs and Small Business reviewing support to the unemployed (where he was Chair of the Digital Sub-Committee).
