Mike Wariebi

Mike Wariebi is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management and business development. Currently serving as Managing Director at Lazard Asset Management since December 2007, Mike leads efforts in the Healthcare, Endowments and Foundations, and Family Office sectors. Previously, Mike was involved with The Mrs Smith and Mount Trust as a Trustee, focusing on charitable funding for mental health and community health initiatives from January 2016 to May 2023. Prior to these roles, Mike held significant positions at KBC Financial Products as Head of Hedge Fund Marketing and at The D. E. Shaw Group as Vice President. Academically, Mike holds a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge and a Master of Arts in International Political Economy, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
