Location: Tampa, FL   

LCG Advisors is seeking a candidate to fill an Intern position within the firm’s Investment Banking division.  The Intern will play a critical role in day-to-day deal execution activities focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital formation and corporate finance advisory.   

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Transaction Support: Aid in executing transactions by preparing documentation, coordinating with internal and external parties, and tracking deal progress.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial statement analysis, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to support investment decisions.
  • Data Compilation: Gather and organize data from various sources to create comprehensive financial models and reports.
  • Pitch Preparation: Support the team in preparing pitch books, presentations, and client proposals.
  • Valuation Modeling: Assist in building and updating valuation models such as discounted cash flow, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions analysis.
  • Due Diligence: Assist in due diligence processes by reviewing legal documents, financial records, and other relevant information.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Must be entering their senior year, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant fields, required
  • Pursuing a Master's in Business Administration (MBA), Master's in Accounting (MAcc), or Master's in Finance, preferred
  • Previous investment banking and/or private equity internship experienced, preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word, required
  • Financial modeling experience, preferred
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and Pitchbook platforms, preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior analytical and research skills
  • Solid organizational skills, especially the ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Ability to successfully "multi-task" while working independently or within a group environment
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Pay Range: 

  • $15 - $18/hour
