Established as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 1990, LEAF has been helping Northeast Ohio students and families navigate their postsecondary pathway for more than 30 years.

Our mission to empower learners to plan for their future through career, education, and financial aid advisory services. Partnering with 22 high schools in Lake, Geauga, Cuyahoga, and Portage counties, our services include:
• 1:1 Career, Education & Financial Aid Advising 
• FAFSA Filing Assistance
• Virtual Information Session Programming
• In-School Events, like Financial Aid Presentations and FAFSA Filing Nights
• Scholarships
• Print and E-Publications

Through our high school partnerships, we help students and families understand postsecondary pathways, career exploration, college/career tech program search, college admission, ACT/SAT prep, college athletics, the financial aid process, scholarship search, financial aid offers, student loan options, and other avenues for funding a postsecondary education.

We provide free advisory services to Lakeland Community College students and the community at large through our Resource Center on the Lakeland Community College Campus. Community members can also access our Virtual Information Sessions free of charge.
