Michael Leckie

Michael Leckie is a distinguished architect and entrepreneur, currently serving as a Founding Member at Opscotch, a community focused on optimizing health and performance. Michael founded Leckie Studio Architecture + Design Inc., an interdisciplinary design studio located in Vancouver, specializing in various design scales and media. As Co-Founder and Principal of The Backcountry Hut Company, Michael aims to create affordable and sustainable outdoor structures. Additionally, Michael co-founded Plus Visual Inc., bridging design and visualization, and held a position as an Adjunct Professor at The University of British Columbia. Educational credentials include a Master of Architecture from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Genetics from Western University. Prior professional experience spans roles at Campos Leckie Studio, Patkau Architects, and Acton Ostry Architects.
