Chris Akeroyd

Chris Akeroyd is a seasoned technology executive with a focus on leading information technology strategies within healthcare and customer service sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Lee Health since June 2025, Chris has a substantial background, having held various roles at Children's Health from August 2015 to June 2025, including Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer. Prior experience includes significant positions at UMC Health System, InfoNXX, and PlainsCapital McAfee Mortgage, where responsibilities spanned IT infrastructure, network operations, and strategic technology initiatives. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas Tech University and completed leadership training at the Gartner Academy for Leadership Development in 2014.
