Michael Nachef

Michael Nachef has extensive experience in government relations and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Chief of Staff and Vice President of Government Relations at Lee Health since July 2016, Michael has held multiple roles including System Director and Director of Government Relations. Prior to this, Michael worked at CertainSafe as Chief Knowledge Officer, focusing on data collection and business strategy development. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as a Legislative Assistant in The Florida Senate, where responsibilities included legislative research and public engagement, and as the Assistant to the University President at Florida Gulf Coast University. Michael also has experience in student government as Chief of Staff, and initially managed operations at a family-owned restaurant. Michael earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2010.
