Nicole Nuttall

Nicole Nuttall has a diverse work experience. Nicole started their career as a Customer Service Representative at Treasure Chest Bingo in 2016. In the same year, they also worked as a Graduate Student at Queen's University, where they later became a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant.

In 2018, Nicole served as an Education Assistant at H'art Centre, assisting with arts programming for adults with developmental disabilities. In 2019, they worked as a Summer Law Student at the Community Advocacy & Legal Centre, focusing on Ontario Disability Support Program appeals and Criminal Injuries Compensation Board applications. Nicole returned to the same organization in 2020 as a Research Assistant and Summer Law Student, working on various projects related to justice, health partnerships, and workplace sexual harassment.

Nicole joined the Dalhousie Student Union in 2019 as a Member Services Assistant, handling administrative duties and private student information. Nicole was later promoted to Supervisor, overseeing a team and providing support to the Student Union executive.

From 2021 to 2022, Nicole worked as an Articling Student at the Law Office of R. Michael Rodé and Sarah Black Criminal Law. Nicole then became an Associate Lawyer at Sarah Black Criminal Law in 2022 before joining Legal Aid Ontario as a Staff Duty Counsel in 2023.

Throughout their career, Nicole has demonstrated strong legal research skills, client advocacy, and excellent customer service.

Nicole Nuttall's education history begins in 2008 when they attended Thomas A. Stewart Secondary School and earned their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. From 2012 to 2016, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology at Queen's University. Following that, they enrolled at Queen's University again from 2016 to 2018, where they completed their Master's Degree in Health Geography. Nicole Nuttall then went on to attend Dalhousie University - Schulich School of Law from 2018 to 2021, where they obtained their Doctor of Law - JD degree.
